Well, maybe unfilter is the wrong term. What I am wishing for is the ability to create a set of "filters" that say "I don't want to see this type of entry". Then if I want to see everything, I turn off filters. Otherwise, I can turn off the events that don't
interest me in most cases, leaving the odd ducks for analysis.

Being able to turn off some messages about which I already know the story behind would make studying the exceptions easier.

Another useful feature would be coordinating information between the various IIS, Server, SharePoint, event, etc. logs into a master view of the system. This seems like it would make your tool even greater.

Just some ideas.

> Hi zipdrive, I should clarify (just in case there is some confusion) that I didn't write Indihiang - credit must go to the original author who set up this project on Codeplex (although it appears he's been MIA for some time). I've just taken the source and
fixed some of the bugs that were causing it to crash for me.

Hi all, I use this from time to time as it can be quite a handy analysis tool indeed. However, the crashes/exceptions were becoming annoying, so I decided to grab the source and fix some of the issues. Please note: I've only been using it on log files, so I haven't given any attention to reviewing how well the direct connection to IIS works (failed for me). Any help in this regard is most welcome.

I've re-released this version as a single download that you can extract on top of your existing installation, or start afresh (my x86 Release DOES also work on x64!).

All the details (notes, bug fixes & improvements) can be found at the link above. Please let me know how it works for you!

New Post: The way to resolve first chance exception ***.dll

thank you for answering me on the question.
With 64bit you need to copy the x64 System.Data.SQLite.dll into to the application directory.

Since I'm working on the source level I had to change the source code a bit:

  [STAThread]
        static void Main(string[] args)
            Application.SetCompatibleTextRenderingDefault(false);

                Application.Run(new LightIndihiangForm(args[0]));
